I am an anthropologist interested in how digital media shapes and is shaped by performances of youthful becoming, racialized difference, gendered performance, and depictions of urban life. I have explored questions regarding (digital) mediation and its effects from various ethnographic locations, including  Delhi, Pune, Philadelphia, Oulu, London, and New York.

I work in multiple media with the belief that experimentation in form affords an opportunity to engage broader audiences, involve research participants, and more reflexively engage with ethnography as a way of knowing.
